Introductory Spanish classes for children and adults
-ages 5 to11
-ages 12 to 14
-age 15 to adult
-Lessons are uniquely created to meet the students where they are at, whether starting Spanish for the first time or wanting to continue with their Spanish journey.
-My approach is conversational, includes song, hand-on activities, and introduces or reviews vocabulary within the context of stories or dialogues.
- Grammar is observed within the context of a story with mini-grammar points as they come up within reading conversations and stories. Grammar is mostly caught rather than taught at the elementary level, but I offer more structured grammar resources for adults.
-Prayer, Scripture and/or worship in Spanish are a part of each lesson to equip students to share the love of Jesus in Spanish.
-I incorporate my bilingual books in the Spanish for Missions class to introduce songs and basic vocabulary so individuals can connect with children overseas or in the United States who speak Spanish.

Bilingual Bible Classes
It has been fun to read Sing with Creation/Canta con la Creación to both English and Spanish-speaking children in their Bible classes at church and to sing the songs in English and Spanish. I enjoy taking in birds for children to hold as I read the devotionals and sing the songs. I also bring in coloring pages from the book for them to color. If you live in the Indianapolis area, I would love to come teach your class!
